Follow-Up: Wild About Reading-Summer Reading Postcards!

EPS and the Community & School Summer Reading Subcommittee wanted to follow-up to let you know that schools should have received their boxes of postcards by now. A huge thank you goes out to Larinda Crossland for coordinating the prompt mailing of our Summer Reading postcards!

Engagement staff at every library will want to make sure to follow-up with schools in their service area to make sure that postcards were received! You will also want to make sure to schedule school visits if you haven't already. Now is also the time to start planning local outreach visits to area organizations if you haven't already. 

Make sure to reference the Community & School Engagement Toolkit for a helpful timeline, best practices, templates, scripts, and other resources/supplies you will need when engaging with schools in your service area and organizations in your local community.
