Final Summer Reading Figures & Read it Forward

The Department of Outreach & Engagement (DOES) has some final Summer Reading statistics to share out with you!

Here is a quick synopsis of our end of summer system level stats:

Read it Forward Update

For this year's Read it Forward program, we did not have a special tier or goal level tied to participation. Instead, we set our Community Goal at 8 million points and determined that if our readers reached that goal, our recipient organization would receive books. The Community Goal was reached the final week of July. With the backlogging of points that occurred throughout prize pickup in August, our grand total of points earned was almost 11 million!

2,300 books were donated by the Friends to RestoreOKC on September 16. More information about Read it Forward history and selection criteria is on the intranet here!
