What is Read It Forward?

Readers may choose to donate their book prizes to children and teens in Oklahoma County. Readers can Read It Forward once they have earned the 600 Point Badge and/or the 1200 Point Badge. A book will be automatically donated once a reader has earned 1800 points; readers can still select the title they want donated, but EPS will also be donating a book on their behalf. 

What should libraries do with their Read It Forward donations? 

Books being read forward can be boxed and displayed at each location to provide a visual representation of the ongoing donation! If your location is running out of space you can start sending your Read It Forward donations to EPS. Please place your donated books in a box with a Read It Forward sticker, note the book count on a piece of paper inside the box, and route them to EPS. EPS will put out a call for all Read It Forward books at the end of Summer Reading, so definitely continue to display your donations if you have the space!
