RBDigital and hoopla have added functionality to support customer use. Infobase products are experiencing some intermittent down times and lags.

In RBDigital, customers can opt in to automatic checkout which will instantly download new issues of their favorite magazines. Once a customer checks out a magazine for the first time, RBDigital will ask if the customer would like the magazine to be checked out immediately upon publication. They will receive an email notification upon check out. Opting in means never missing an issue!

Delivering on a long-requested feature, hoopla customers have the ability to renew their material starting two days out from the due date. This saves the customer the hassle of having to find the title again and checkout a second time. Currently, renewal is only available on the hoopla site but it will be rolling out to the app soon.

All Infobase resources, (AVOD, African-American History Online, American Indian History Online, Science Online, World Almanac for Kids, and World Religions Online) are experiencing periods of down times and/or lags. The company is aware of the issue which began last week and are working to correct it. If you are unable to access an Infobase database, try again later or use an alternate database. Explora / Ebschost is a good catch all. Britannica Library Children and Britannica Library Young Adult are good alternates for students.
