Digital Dash Results

Happy New Year!

As of December 31st, we reached 96.2% of our Digital Dash goal. While we didn’t reach the top, this is still a good showing and we’re already gearing up for next year.

Each library saw an increase in average daily checkouts. Each library had a recommendation for a top book of 2017. Each library showed a great amount of enthusiasm for connecting readers with ebooks and eaudio. Thank you for your efforts!

• How did you feel about participating in the Dash? Did it encourage you to talk to customers about emedia?
• What are some ideas for running next year’s Dash (i.e.: fun themes, lists, etc.)?
• What could you have used from Web Services/Collection Development to make your participation more successful? (i.e.: Overdrive training, earlier lead time, prewritten pitches, etc.)
