PC Reservation

In addition to the ILS, we will begin using new PC Reservation software on Tuesday.  The fundamental difference between our current system and the new system is the way computers are assigned.  On our current system, a customer signed up at a sign-up computer and watched a monitor to see when a computer was ready.  On the new system, customers are assigned a computer and a reservation time when they sign up.  This information is given to them on the receipt printed at the sign-up computer.

In addition to obtaining a reservation at a sign-up computer, customers can walk directly to an available public computer and sign in directly at that computer.

The monitors connected to the signup computers will no longer provide relevant information and should be turned off if possible at closing on Friday, August 28th.
