Libraries often report being asked for help creating a resume. This week’s database highlight, Cypress Resume, walks users step by step through the process of building their resume. Unlike Word Templates, which can be filled with trick formatting, Cypress Resume prompts users to enter the right information and even links them to a job description so they have an easier time listing the proper experience.

This week’s database highlight, World Almanac for Kids, is part encyclopedia, part atlas, part quiz, and part instruction. There’s something for every student whether it is looking up a research topic or satisfying a curiosity. Not to mention it’s a great place to look for state and country flags (look under Resources)!
