Internal Communications Survey

Communication in the digital age is paramount. There are an unlimited number of ways to convey information and multiple platforms, processes, and expressions to choose when sending a message. As a receiver of the information, it can be overwhelming, confusing, and annoying to be constantly bombarded from all sides when getting information from multiple sources saying differing things. It is important for us as information professionals to be sending the correct information via the most effective ways while ensuring the consistency, transparency, and validity of the message being sent.
What are the most effective methods of communication for you? Do you prefer to hear your information in video form or over the phone? Does an email or intranet post work best for you? Are in-person meetings the most effective way for you to remember and use information in your daily work? Everyone is different in their preferences for receiving and retaining important information. This just means we need to be better about our choices in sending information.
We want to know what you prefer, what works best for you, and how we can improve our communication methods to benefit the system going forward. Please assist us in making more effective communication choices in the future by addressing your needs and letting us know the best methods for disseminating information through the system in the future.
Watch for an email from [email protected] via SurveyMonkey with a link to complete the survey. Emails will be sent at 2pm today (Monday, November 30th, 2020). Please fill out the survey before 7pm on Sunday, December 13th, 2020.
Thank you for your time and input as we grow as a group to be a more communicative and effective team.

What a great video. We need a bit of uplifting. It made me laugh! Thank you
Great job! I think Frostee has much to teach us.
Does anyone still have the email from 2016 with the original video of the "Snowman of Doom" produced by CH staff? It was probably sent by the CH email or from Jana Hausburg. Or does someone still in system that was in the video have a copy of it? It would be great if someone could share it on here so newer staff can see its awesomeness.
I forwarded that e-mail to you!
Thanks to Sharon Thompson for emailing me the file.
