Ghouls Gone Wild is Oklahoma City's annual downtown/midtown Halloween parade. In the past, MLS has participated by entering marching groups of zombie librarians, a float of literary character zombies, and a mob of Harry Potters! We're looking for staff members who are willing to help out with this year's entry. Do you have suggestions for the theme? Please contact Emily Williams at [email protected] or use the comment boxes below.
This year's parade is Saturday night, October 27th and we will need participants from 5-9pm. Remember, this counts as work time so it must be approved by your manager. Also, no one under age 18 can march in the parade. More information about the route and rules here: http://okgazetteparade.com

Since the world is supposed to end on December 21 or something, the theme could be "Doom" or "2 Months to Live". Or participants could dress as Mayan zombies. Or Nostradamus.
What about "50 Shades of Gray": we all dress in black, white, and gray. I know that Sheldon and Dana Beach dressed up like characters in a black and white movie one year and it looked really, really cool. Kind of hard to do, I'm sure, but visually striking!
While that is a great idea Jana, I should add that the make up takes forever (it took us close to 3 hours) and can be fairly expensive. But if everyone was committed to making it work it would be very awesome!! Here's a link of what it looked like http://www.flickr.com/photos/craftyminx/6292736073/
