eResource Mini Series: National Geographic

Print

Since we can't meet in-person right now and the Introduction to E-resources workshop has been put on pause, we've created an eResource Mini Series to help you learn more about our databases and stay up-to-date on all our digital resources. These monthly videos will take you on a virtual tour of one of our databases and give you ideas about how they can be used.

Part three of the series shows off our National Geographic databases. The main National Geographic database includes back issues of National Geographic magazine going all the way back to 1888 as well as back issues of National Geographic Traveler and National Geographic History magazines. Also included are articles, videos, ebooks, and travel guides. The National Geographic Kids database is designed just like the main database but contains content geared toward children age 6-14.

Enroll and watch this month's video (~11 minutes) in Edubrite here (you will be prompted to login if you're not already). This month's course also includes an option scavenger hunt to help you deep-dive and get familiar with the database on your own.

As always, if there's a specific resource or topic you'd like to learn more about in future videos, email Kristine Magers in Collection Development at [email protected]
