eResource Mini Series: African-American History Online

Since we can’t meet in-person right now and the Introduction to E-resources workshop has been put on pause, we’ve created an eResource Mini Series to help you learn more about our databases and stay up-to-date on all our digital resources. These monthly videos will take you on a virtual tour of one of our databases and give you ideas about how they can be used.
Part six of the series celebrates Black History Month with our homework help database African-American History Online. Covering more than 500 years of the African-American experience, African-American History Online offers a fresh way to explore the full spectrum of African-American history and culture. Users can start their investigation of a topic with a video or slideshow overview, use the key content called out on the home page to find an entryway into the database, or dig deep into a subject or era through the Topic Centers. Read about key figures and events, examine famous speeches and other primary sources, and get context from the in-depth timelines.
