Staff Day Registration CLOSES on 09/19/18@ 11:59
We’re excited to provide a day of education, enrichment, team building, and recognition for all Metro Library Staff. Please take a minute to complete your Staff Day registration, including lunch selection and breakout session preferences. Please have your registration completed by Wednesday, September 19 at 11:59pm. Visit the Staff Day pages to get all the details.
Attendance: Full-time employees are required to attend. Part-time and half-time employees are welcome and encouraged to attend. Part-time and half-time employees may attend the full day or a half-day session. Part-time employees attending a half-day session must choose between the morning session (8am-1pm) or afternoon session (12pm-4pm). Both options include lunch. Please work with your supervisor to adjust your schedule as needed to accommodate your attendance within weekly hours.
Dress Code: Friday casual – jeans and a nice shirt or library t-shirt. Name tags are required. The hotel sets the temperature for the venue so please dress appropriately (e.g. bring a sweater, cardigan, jacket, etc.)
Meals: Breakfast will be served buffet style with pastries and fruit. Lunch will be served as a plated meal. Beverage service (including coffee!) will be available all day. Please pack an afternoon snack if you know you'll get hungry - you'll want to keep your energy up to get the most out of Staff Day!
Carpool: We encourage staff to carpool as parking gets tight no matter what venue! There are 320+ spots available at a first come, first served basis.

Kuddos to whoever arranged to have a lactation room available. Great way to support working mothers!
It is super nice ~ with a refrigerator if needed. We will have some type of schedule in the event there are multiple working mothers that need to use the room to ensure privacy!
Does anyone know if you are able to change the sessions your requested to attend after you have already registered? I am assuming you cannot. Thanks.

You cannot change sessions at this time. I can see what I can do if you want to email me and let me know what you want and I can see what I can do. The data goes to one central location and it would be difficult to start making changes.
I never got a confirmation. I registered on the first day. Is there a way to make sure I'm signed up? Thank you!

We do not send confirmations via email for staff day registration. At the end of your registration, you received a notification "thank you' that your registration was submitted. Do you recall picking session, salmon, chicken or vegan at all?
Yes, I remember doing so; I was just a little confused because since then I also registered for the flu shot and health screening and have email confirmations for those. I'm SURE I signed up for Staff Day - I just couldn't remember if there were supposed to be confirmations. Thank you!
