Test Our Updated Research Page

Hello Staff,

We have updated our Databases & Research page to include full-text & peer reviewed articles search powered by Ebsco Discovery Service (EDS). EDS will allow members to search multiple databases at the same time.   Please look at this update here:  http://www.metrolibrary.org/research-test and share in the comments your thoughts of the new addition and what ideas you have for helping promote this to our members.

Timeline for Implementation:

• July 31^st – August 6^th:  Staff Testing
• August 7^th:  Soft Launch for members
• August 28^th:  Blog post & SM posts alerting members of the new article search

Action Items:

• Test new full-text & peer-reviewed article search powered by EDS
• Share with us your thoughts on the update
• Share one way we can promote this to our members

Talking Points:

• Use the handy article search on our Research page to find articles from over 100 databases.
• Use our article search as a launchpad for your research project.
• Looking for a topic but don’t know which database to use?  Our Article Search will search over 100 databases to give you the information you are seeking.
