Executive Director Update: Guest Experiences

Guest Experiences (GX): where we are and how it works to focus on building long lasting relationships with the community. I provide an overview and describe the why we are doing it and what the results from GX should be for us in the future. I will be doing more about GX as we go along and will be speaking to staff about this (and other things) over my stops at locations over the coming weeks. Please feel free to ask questions when you see me.

Guest Experiences- Where we are at in Public Services

We wanted to formally announce that Bethany was the library location selected to be the pilot library of Guest Experiences. Bethany was chosen to start this process first for several reasons. These include that they are in a newer building and therefore guests and staff are learning to interact in a different way than they previously did and that their actions have indicated that they have a strong desire to go in the Guest Experiences direction.

 

Service Model Evolution

As our service environment changes, we need to examine how we can provide service in the most meaningful ways and build long-term relationships to the communities that we serve. I want to discuss a vision of how our customer service model will evolve of the coming year and provide a brief overview of what we want to achieve and why we are doing it.
