I feel overwhelmed with all the change. Why is all this necessary?

Change can be difficult, but it's also one of the main constants for any organization that is evolving and growing. The changes with both the staffing model and service model will allow us to move forward on our strategic plan, and rather than just dumping the work required to actualize this plan on everyone, in their current roles and with their current responsibilities, we are building an infrastructure to support this work. This includes system leadership for programming, more clearly defined roles for branch staff, and more opportunities for staff to find a place where they think their strengths are best utilized.
