Lote4Kids

Print

I am pleased to announce the addition of a new resource for early readers into Metro's digital collection: Lote4Kids. This resource is for early readers learning English as a second language or early readers learning any new language. Users can access eBooks, eAudiobooks, Flipbooks (read-a-longs), as well as activities and games that strengthen literacy skills. L4K also provides titles in American Sign Language, BSL, NZSL, and Auslan. Collection Development acquired this resource beause it strengthens the inclusivity and diversity of thought within Metro's digital collection (AM 310, Statement of Purpose A). This increases Metro's ability to better serve all of the varous communities within Oklahoma County.

Users can find Lote4Kids on the Download and Stream page at metrolibrary.org. In time, collection devlopment intends to relocated L4K closer to the Tumblebooks library link in order to group similar digital resources together.
