Give a Shout Out to a 'Friend' at Staff Development Day!

Stop by the Friends of the Metropolitan Library System's information table during Staff Development Day and sign a 'Shout Out' note of praise, thanks and encouragement to one of the hundreds of volunteers who make the work of the Friends possible. National Friends of Libraries week is October 20 - 26 and your notes will be delivered and displayed to celebrate our Friends and volunteers.

While at the table you can also visit with a member of the Friends' board or sign up to become a paid member of the Friends (morning only).

Did you know that last year the Friends had more members than ever before? Did you know that the Booksale 2020 event is the 40th annual Friends book sale? Did you know how much the Friends LOVE our libraries and the work YOU do?
