Launching Self-E and Pressbooks

Starting today writers can submit their books to Self-e, the library’s independent ebook publisher. Books submitted to Self-e automatically go into our Indie Oklahoma collection and can be read by anyone with a library card. The book then goes on to be reviewed by Library Journal, yes that Library Journal, and could be included in the LJ Select collection. If Library Journal selects a work for LJ Select inclusion, the book will be placed in Biblioboard libraries across the US and Canada.

In addition to Self-e, our members can take advantage of Pressbooks. Using Pressbooks, authors can write, edit, collaborate, share, and format an ebook - even submit directly to Self-e.
