Will you be stuck at your pay/demoted?

No employee's pay will be reduced pay as a result of this alignment. Our goal is to ensure as many staff as possible remain in their current positions with a new title, or participate in a lateral transfer to another position. It is possible some staff will be demoted, but this will not impact their pay. It's also possible some staff will choose to apply for a promotion, and in that case they may move up to a higher pay grade. Depending on their current salary, and the pay grade of the promotion, their earning potential will go up.
