United Way Giving
Today kicks off our annual United Way giving campaign where you will be invited to make a gift to support United Way. Your manager or supervisor will give you a form and a brochure to learn more about giving to United Way and to give you an opportunity to give.
Giving to United Way strengthens our community by pooling our gifts to create resources our library card members need and use every day. Throughout the campaign you will see additional information here or receive it from your manager and I encourage you to review it.
- Our goal for this year is to raise $15,000 by 11/28.
- All payroll deduction forms will be turned in by 12/1.
- Gifts are to support the 2017 calendar year
The first 10 departments or locations to turn in all their forms (with at least a person’s name on, even if that person does not choose to give) receive an entry into a drawing for a special delivery of coffee and donuts from the Executive Director.
There will also be milestone incentives announced as we move closer to our dollar goal. Thank you all for your interest and support of United Way – I look forward to your creativity and generosity in strengthening our community!
