Location:

We are all saddened to lose our good friend and favorite contact resource, Who's Who.  In the wake of saddness, new ways to find contact information have emerged.  Here's some help:

Using MyMetrolibrary for Library and Departmental Contact Information

You can access specific library location and departmental contact information through MyMetrolibrary in the Quick Links menu under Location Phone Numbers.

Office 365 People Directory

Looking up someone’s phone number in the Office 365 People Directory is easy:

  1. Click the app launcher icon in the top-left of Office 365.
  2. Click the People Icon.

From the People Directory page:

  1. Search for the user you wish to look up. You can search by first name, last name, or both. Hit enter or click the magnifying glass icon.
  2. Select the search result you wish to look up in the middle pane.
  3. The user’s details will be listed in the right pane.

Using Paycom to Locate Someone’s Number

  1. Log into Paycom.
  2. Click on Company Information located at the bottom of the navigation menu to the left.
  3. A submenu will appear.  Click on Employee Directory.

Using Paycom for Searching, Sorting, and Exporting the Employee Directory

You have the ability to search, sort, and export/download the web directory.

  1. Quick Search – This tool will allow you to easily search for someone.  You can search by name, library/department, or by position.
  2. Sorting – Click on any of the up/down arrows located below the title headings to sort by name, work email, library/department, or position.
  3. Export* – You can download a PDF or Excel spreadsheet of the employee directory.  Excel works best for the directory because of its ability to customize and organize.

*Photos are not exportable into PDF or Excel formats.

Hire dates?

Is there a way to see pin dates in either Office 365 or Paycom? One of the coolest things about Who's Who was seeing how long people have been here.

Phone: Directores -- Corporate Directory

Mel/ED shared this with me: if someone has a dedicated extension, you can use the "directories" button on the phone, then hit 5 for "corporate directory" and type in the name of the person you are looking for (don't have to put in the whole name, just part of it, i.e. "Andr" instead of "Andrew") then hit the search button and it will pull up all the Andrews ... another option.
