Read for Adventure Program: New Zoo Book and Vouchers

The Oklahoma City Zoo, Oklahoma Department of Libraries, and Oklahoma Gas and Electric have launched a new zoo book and voucher program on Wednesday, July 8.  All public libraries in the state have received copies of the book and vouchers to hand out. The book, Juniper's Butterfly Garden, and vouchers are being sent to the libraries and should arrive early this week. The vouchers will be handed out when a person checks out the book and are good for admission of 4 people (child, adult, or senior) to the Oklahoma City Zoo between now and June 30, 2021.  The expiration date on the vouchers from 2019 has been extended to September 7, 2020, and a few libraries still have some of those vouchers remaining. The 2019 vouchers can still be handed out when customers check out Our Day at the Zoo.

Due to the popularity of this program, please circulate these materials as normal and do not retain a copy of the book to check out and back in as a way to hand out more vouchers.
