New Spanish Language eBook Platform Coming to Metro!

The library will soon launch a new Spanish language eBook platform! 

The platform is called Odilo and is set to soft launch sometime mid-April 2018. Odilo delivers native Spanish language content from publishers in Spain, South America, and Mexico. Get a sneak peek at the upcoming training.

Odilo Training 

The training is designed for staff who will be interacting with patrons and introducing the Odilo platform to the community. The goal of this training is to train staff to better help and teach customers how to use the ODILO site. Well-trained customers use the libraries' resources more, and success would be demonstrated by increased usage. During the training, library staff will become familiarized with all aspects of the ODILO site including:

• Site Navigation
• Account Registering
• Catalog Search
• List creation
• Patron Communications
• Book holds, checkouts and returns
• ODILO App for mobile devices
• Nubereader functionality and personalization
