National Friends of Libraries Week! Oct 20th to 26th

It's the 14th annual National Friends of Libraries Week! We are celebrating with our Friends board, committees, members, followers and most of all, our volunteers who work at the Sort Site! Thank you for taking the time at Staff Day to write thank you notes and shout outs to our volunteers. Their efforts have raised $5.9 million dollars for our libraries since 1981; $4.8 million of that has been granted back to MLS to date.

2020 will be the 40th annual big Booksale Event at the State Fairgrounds. We anticipate another record-breaking year of memberships, bookselling, and support for our libraries. To support the Friends and their continued growth, consider volunteering with them at their 40th annual Booksale event in February.
