Media Release: Vaccination Clinics Held at Metro Libraries

Six Metropolitan Library System libraries across Oklahoma County will be holding COVID-19 vaccination clinics during the last two weeks of October. Everyone receiving a vaccine will be entered in a drawing for a free e-reader bundle.
Everyone 12 years and older is eligible for the vaccine which will be administered by the Oklahoma City-County Health Department. Those ages 12-17 are eligible to receive the Pfizer vaccine, while those ages 18 and older are eligible to receive the Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines. First and second doses are available at all six locations.
The vaccination clinics will be held at the following locations and dates:
Thursday, Oct. 21, 2 – 5 p.m.
Northwest Library – 5200 NW 122nd, Oklahoma City
Ralph Ellison Library – 2000 NE 23rd, Oklahoma City
Friday, Oct. 22, 9:00 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Capitol Hill Library – 327 SW 27th, Oklahoma City
Del City Library – 4330 SE 15th, Del City
Thursday, Oct. 28, 12 – 3:00 p.m.
Ronald J. Norick Downtown Library – 300 Park Ave, Oklahoma City
Choctaw Library – 2525 Muzzy St. – Choctaw
No pre-registration is required, but participants need to bring a photo ID, their CDC vaccination card if this is their second dose and a signed parental waiver form if coming without a parent for those under age 18. OCCHD will be providing masks to customers when they enter the vaccination area if one is not already worn.
