Kanopy LIVE

Kanopy is now LIVE! Our members can starting checking out movies today.  

How does it work?

Kanopy is available for streaming via the web (TV, movies) through the Kanopy app. Here is the list of supported devices.  Kanopy requires all users to create an account before using the service. If a member calls wanting access to Kanopy but they don't have a card, no worries! Point them to the online card application.

1. Navigate to http://www.metrolibrary.org/kanopy
2. Click Sign up in the top right-hand corner.
3. Create an account by linking Facebook, Google, or creating a new Kanopy account.
4. A new account creation will trigger a verification link via email
5. After logging in, there's a promt to enter a library card

Note:  members under 13 must have an adult’s permission to register

Members are allowed 6 checkouts per month. 

Each branch should have received a letter detailing the Kanopy process as well as some Kanopy flair. Let's get the word out - Kanopy is LIVE!
