COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics @ Metro Libraries

Outreach & Engagement Services (OES), in collaboration with Public Services, is excited to announce that we will be hosting onsite COVID-19 vaccine clinics with the OKC-County Health Department (OCCHD) later this month.
OES has created a detailed FAQ that was shared with all front line staff to help assist with any staff or customer questions. Our FAQ provides the why behind our clinics, background on our partnership with OCCHD, information about customer and staff safety, our vaccine clinic schedule, and various questions/answers. A copy can be found on the All Engagement SharePoint. A customer facing FAQ and more information about our clinics can be found on our website: https://www.metrolibrary.org/covid-vaccine.
We know that many library locations have been interested in hosting vaccine clinics over the past years and are excited to be able to work with OCCHD to make this a reality for our community.
Below are our clinic hosts for October.
Vaccine Clinic Schedule
NW Library and Ralph Ellison Library
Thursday, October 21
2pm-5pm
Capitol Hill Library and Del City Library
Friday, October 22
9am-Noon
Choctaw Library and Downtown Library
Thursday, October 28
Noon-3pm
When selecting dates and times for our clinlics, library mangement teams considered when they experience the most foot traffic and when 12-17 year olds + 18-35 year olds (the two hardest to reach demographics for OCCHD) are most likely to visit their locations.
Marketing materials in English and Spanish for both teens and adults can be found on the All Engagment SharePoint and have been routed out to all library locations.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Outreach & Engagement Services.
