Adult Volunteer Basics Workshop- Coming Soon to a Library Near You!

Will you be supervising adult volunteers?  If so, please join us at the Adult Volunteer Basics workshop!  Heidi Port will help you understand the processes necessary to engage and supervise adult volunteers and ensure a positive experience for customers, volunteers, and staff.  We will also discuss why we utilize volunteers and what value they add to our libraries, as well as what tasks are appropriate for volunteers.  Please seek supervisor approval prior to enrolling through EduBrite!

There are four workshops to choose from:

• October 23, 2019 - 1:00-4:00pm - SO Library
• January 30, 2020 - 5:00-8:00pm - VI Library
• April 23, 2020 - 1:00-4:00pm - CH Library
• September 17, 2020 - 9:00am-12:00pm - NW Library

​Here are the steps to enroll:

1.         Login to EduBrite

2.         Go to “Course Catalog”

3.         Search for Adult Volunteer Basics

4.         Click “Enroll” -> OK

5.         Click on “Events” tab

6.         Find the event you want to attend and click “Enroll”

You can also go to upcoming events on your EduBrite dashboard and find the event you want to attend and click “Enroll.”  Please email [email protected] if you have any questions.
