2nd QTR Safety and April Training Launched!

2nd QTR Safety – Emergency Response (REQ) - due June 30th, 2022

Why is the training important?

• Knowing your role and doing it right in an emergency is your greatest tool for staying safe and healthy.
• Learn to identify methods of reporting emergencies and procedures to follow during emergency situations.
• Emergency Response is a Safety training required by PEOSH (Public Employee Occupational Safety and Health). It is recommended all employees have a basic awareness of emergency response.

This training will consist of: An interactive video by Safety Skills on Emergency Response, with a built-in knowledge check.

Approximate time to complete this course: 19(m) For your convenience, you will find it on your Dashboard under "My Items" in EduBrite. When you launch the course please read the Introduction page carefully.

Summer Reading 2022 (REQ) - due April 30th, 2022

Why is the training important?

• Learn the necessary tools and information to help guests with Summer Reading, and ultimately reach our Summer Reading goals.
• Act as an ambassador to our community, friends, and family about the 2022 Summer Reading program.
• Get started in Beanstack, along with registering for the program and logging reading activities.

This training will consist of: A video provided by OES, a Getting Started Guide for using Beanstack, end of video acknowledgment. 

Approximate time to complete this course: 25(m) For your convenience, you will find the appropriate training (Department or Public Services) on your Dashboard under "My Items" in EduBrite. When you launch the course please read the Introduction page carefully.

April 2022 - Compliance - Discipline and Discharge: Supervisors Only (REQ) - due April 30th, 2022

Why is the training important?

• Learn when and how to discipline employees as a Manager.
• Understand the proper steps in general discipline and discharge conversations.

This training will consist of: A short video by McAfee & Taft, with a knowledge check post video.

Approximate time to complete this course: 25(m) This training is for Supervisors Only. For your convenience, you will find it on your Dashboard under "My Items" in EduBrite. When you launch the course please read the Introduction page carefully.
