2018 United Way Campaign

We would like to announce the kick-off of our 2018 United Way Campaign, Oct. 8 - Oct. 22. Each year the library participates in the United Way campaign because we know how much United Way partner agencies do for our library customers. Our goal this year is to contribute $10,000 to United Way.

As we enter the season of giving, we encourage library staff to consider how our library customers benefit from the services provided by local non-profit agencies. United Way of Central Oklahoma supports these local agencies in our community. United Way partner agencies that you may recognize include the Homeless Alliance, 211, the Boys and Girls Club of Oklahoma, Community Literacy Centers and many others.

This year we will conduct our United Way campaign a bit differently. On Monday October 8, 2018 all staff will receive an email from the United Way of Central Oklahoma with a customized/personalized link to the ePledge website. Please do not share your email with anyone else as it will be directly tied to an ePledge site customized for each individual.  We believe this will make the process easier for everyone. There a table set up at Staff Day on Monday October 8, 2018 where you can ask questions and donate to United Way.
