A++, would database again

This is an amazing addition to our database lineup. Be sure to let your regular geneologists know about it immediately, as the ability to search small-town newspapers provides a rich vein for research. The ability to narrow down name-based searches by date and city should make it possible to research even common names.

And if you've got an uncommon name, it's a gold mine. For example, I just discovered that a relative I'd never heard of was arrested in the late 70s for holding up several Amarillo businesses with a hand grenade. I am really looking forward to the Thanksgiving discussions this news will spark.

This is a great new resource!

I found all kinds of articles with photos from small-town newspapers. The
name searching is easy for the customers. Then filtering by location was simple.
The photo quality is not great, but it is nice addition to the articles. Newspaper articles from the 1910's to 1950's were found with photos of friends and relatives. There was
an article about my grandmother being honored in a parade for a 50-year anniversary
of her graduation. It said in the caption that she received her first graduation cap at the
parade. That was an exciting bit of trivia to add to our family scrapbook.
