2. Introduction of Speaker – Dr. Cecelia Brown, OU School of Library and Information Sciences
   “What’s Happening in Libraries Today” – Dr. Brown spoke about trends, programs, and services both in the U.S. and internationally and the variety of students in library school

4. Kim Terry – Database highlights
   Kim spoke to the group about MAC’s plan to highlight a database each month to staff and the public in order to encourage use of these resources; Kim also asked librarians to send suggestions to her if they had ideas on how to market these resources more effectively
5. Donna Morris and Todd Olberding – Northwest Library updates
   Donna and Todd gave a presentation on the new library and how construction was progressing. They had architectural drawings, furniture and equipment mock-ups, and paint and fabric samples for attendees to see. They also answered questions about similarities and differences at NW compared to other libraries in MLS.
