Topic: Planning discussion for future move back to renovated Belle Isle Library

Capital Projects 
 

Belle Isle Renovation/Addition – Drywall work is 80% complete. Rooftop packaged HVAC units are installed and ONG is finishing gas installation. The units should be working soon. They are currently projecting construction completion by the end of January 2022. We will begin internal meetings November 3, 2021, to discuss the reopening schedule and logistics for reopening of the renovated library.

Capital Projects 
 

Belle Isle Renovation/Addition – Steel support structure is nearly complete. The framing for the curtain wall (glass store front facing NW Expressway) is installed and the shape of the front of the building is evident. They are currently projecting construction completion by the end of December 2021.

Belle Isle Renovation/Addition – Steel support structure is being built but has been delayed by steel acquisition and some rework of architectural drawings. They are currently projecting construction completion by the end of December 2021.

New Almonte Library – We are working with the architects on revisions to the preliminary building program/space planning requirements.
