Playaway, Playaway View, and Playaway Launchpad Replacement Procedures

As of February 10, 2016, please follow the guidelines listed below for replacements of ALL Playaway formats (AMPs, VMPs, and TABs)

Before sending an item in for replacement, please check the steps for troubleshooting problems with the Playaway formats

For Replacement of Device:

  • Withdraw the item.
  • Send the entire item (case and device) to MSL/Assistant with a note indicating what is wrong.
  • A replacement will not be ordered if we don’t have a device to send in.

For Replacement Artwork:

  • If artwork is missing, send case and device to MSL/Assistant with a note stating “Replacement Artwork”.
  • If artwork is damaged and barcode is still present, withdraw the item.  Send case and devise to MSL/Assistant with a note stating “Replacement Artwork”.
