We are extending the United Way campaign for another week since we were out most of last week. This past week was eye-opening to me. Of course I still don't have electricity and have felt like I've been living in another time period, however, it's just been a week. But think of the many people and children who live without electricity every day. They live without a roof over their heads or can't afford to pay for gas, electric or fresh water. The United Way has 56 partner agencies who work with families dealing with this every day.
