2.9.16 Update RE: Apple & OverDrive

Many customers have reported experiencing the "Fulfillment Failed" error after installing the newest update from OverDrive. OverDrive stated they are still working on additional fixes so in the meanwhile, please encourage your customers who are suffering this problem to read or listen to their titles in their browser if possible.

Apple customers can read Kindle titles using the Kindle app on their Apple device but any titles they have currently checked out in the EPUB format would have to be returned & then checked out in the Kindle format, which might require the customer to "get in line" depending on whether there are holds on that title. However, most titles checked out in Kindle or EPUB format can still be read in the browser & doing so doesn't require the creation of an account nor the installation & configuration of software as does reading titles with the Kindle app & OverDrive app, respectively.
