Community Organization Spotlight - Period OKC 

Guest Speaker: Linley Faye Smith, President

Period OKC started as a pandemic project to provide period products for people experiencing homelessness and has grown to a 501c3 foundation dedicated to fighting period poverty. They now provide tampons, pads, liners, menstrual cups or discs at no cost to organizations. 

Things to know:  

  • 1 in 4 students who menstruate miss school because of period poverty.
