Today, we are going to skip the three French Hens and instead highlight the 'Staff' menu of MyMetrolibrary!  The Staff section features the awesome things associated with our staff.  Here is what you can find under the 'Staff section':

  • Brag Sheet – We know our staff members are awesome and now we have a place to highlight this awesomeness!  Have you or a co-worker received an amazing honor?  Remember when Daniel Fields (BE) received the Pay it Forward award from News Channel 4?  Well, I do!  Now everyone can see the great impact our staff members are making in our communities, our state, and across the nation!!
  • Forum – This is one of the new features of MyMetrolibrary.  I will cover the ins and outs of the Forum in upcoming email updates, so right now, take a look at our Forum and await further details!
  • Happy Birthday – Who’s Birthday is today?  Well, now you will know and we can celebrate together!
  • Happy Anniversary – Just like the format for staff birthdays, but this date is the staff members' Pin Date.
  • MetroUniversity – Your one stop shop for staff learning and training!  Features include: MetroU LMS (requires your unique login and password); Mentor Forum (created specifically for MetroU Mentors); important Resources, Metro U Lending Library (coming soon), and an archive of the monthly newsletter Training Times.
  • Staff Association – The Staff Association section has been updated to include some great features which include: Meeting Calendar, Join Online form, an Executive Committee Directory with contact information, News and Media (includes the most recent meeting minutes and coming soon an archive of past meeting minutes), Staff Association Videos, a Member Forum which includes a General Discussion forum for all staff, and a Contact Us form.
  • Staff Volunteers – Want know about great opportunities to give back?  Here you can learn about all those opportunities via the overview and conditions of Staff Volunteers, current monthly Calendar, listing of Volunteer Events, Photos (coming soon), and the Contact sections on this page.
  • Who’s Who – Our online pictorial directory of 'Who’s Who' in the library system.  Included with the staff member's picture is his/her job title, work location, contact number, birthday and pin date.

I want to say a special Thank You to those of you who have offered feedback on our new Intranet - it is appreciated!  If you encounter any errors or incorrect information, please let me or Kellie Delaney know.  The more eyes we have proofing the information on our Intranet the more beneficial the information (this is true now and after the site goes live).
