Connect Forum “24-in-7 Seminar” Activity
Attendees formed small groups of 5-7 people and were led by Clyde Herrod (CAT) under the following instructions:
Mission: With 7 minutes of group collaboration -- using exactly 24 words -- create a definition, description, or explanation of our theme, "What we like about MLS."
Discussion of Librarian-in-Charge duty
Following the 24-in-7 activity Meghan Attalla broke the group into four small groups and discussed the following questions regarding Librarian-in-Charge:
- What does Librarian-In-Charge look like at your branch?
- Has your manager outlined duties of the LIC?
- Do you think the words "In-Charge" have lead to any confusion or misperceptions of the role of the LIC among staff at all levels.
Meeting adjourned at 4:00pm.
