The following guidelines apply to all email communications (work-related or personal) which are accessed on or from library premises, accessed using library computer equipment, or via library-paid access methods, and/or used in a manner which identifies the individual with the library.

SF 600.2 Mileage Reimbursement Guidelines

Employees may be reimbursed for miles driven for library business, if certain requirements are met. However, mileage to and from your assigned workplace and your home will not be reimbursed. This policy limits reimbursable miles to the miles driven in excess of the number of miles involved in the individual’s daily commute (round trip) for work. The reimbursement rate is the current standard federal rate for business expenses.

AS 600.1 Guidelines for Accepting, Displaying and Distributing Brochures, Posters and Similar Items in Libraries

  1. Materials regarding the library system and its programs should take precedence over other materials.
    1. Library materials giving information about the library, such as a change in service hours, should take top priority over ALL other library materials.
    2. Materials regarding library events or programs that are about to begin and for which we are encouraging and soliciting participation should be given priority over materials regarding events or a series of events that have already begun or are continuing.

Clarification - Posters

You may post posters or flyers of missing children as you have done in the past - according to guidelines - as you have room etc. However, we ask that you post them on a bulletin board not on the front door.
