Del City staff will engage in a Customer Education campaign that explains the services offered by the Metropolitan Library System, including the creation of a New Customer Packet that will be given when customers sign up for a library card.

Del City Staff have compiled materials for the packet, including a brochure of services with contact information, list of card holder privileges and responsibilties, and the Code of Conduct brochure. It will also contain a bookmark and MLS sticker.
The new customer packets debuted during Customer Appreciation Month in October 2013. They have been well received by customers and staff. This is part of our ongoing effort to educate our customers about services and resources that we provide.
The new customer packets are being used in the fall of 2013 at our local high school as part of our joint effort to promote signing up for a library card.
