Buddy Johnson participates in Retro Metro which meets at the Downtown Library. The City of OKC, OK Historical Society, The Oklahoman, and Chamber of Commerce all participate to gather old photos and artifacts. Some of these are added to Oklahoma Images. 2010/July
Buddy Johnson volunteered time to assist the OKC Planning Dept. with their Oklahoma City! Sooner or Later grant. He is researching city documents for an exhibit on the history of city government which will be displayed in City Hall in 2011. 2010/August

Capitol Hill holds its annual holiday open house. Customers could have their picture taken with Santa, craft ornaments, enjoy bags of candy, and listen to holiday musical entertainment.700 people attended the come-and-go event. 2009/December
Capitol Hill holds Veteran's Day Benefit Fair, honoring veterans and offering information about services available through MLS and the community. 2011/November
Capitol Hill Library begins Midday Matinee at the Hill, featuring family friendly movies, related books and materials. 2012/February
