Staff Association Annual Meeting -- MLS Got Talent!

Calling all musicians, poets, artists, singers, comics, rappers, dancers, thespians, jugglers, magicians, impressionists and all other talented people! Have you been looking for the perfect venue to showcase your talents to your fellow MLS staff? Well, look no further! For our 2013 annual meeting, the Staff Association will be hosting an "open mic night" and would like YOU to share your talents with the rest of the staff. The event will take place on September 13th at 7:30 pm in the atrium of the Downtown library. The evening's festivities will also include food and beverages for all who wish to attend.

Performers and Staff Association members can attend for free. Any other staff, friends, or family that would like to attend will be charged $5.

To help us organize the event, everyone wishing to attend will need to RSVP in advance. Keep watching the intranet for more information on how to RSVP to attend. All interested performers will need to submit their talent in advance also via the soon-to-come intranet form. Performances should be under 10 minutes in duration and any group performances (i.e. musical band) need to include at least one MLS employee. So no more sleepless nights thinking, "if only MLS staff could gather in one place to witness my interpretive dance to the theme song from "The Love Boat." Now this dream can become A REALITY! Hope to see you there!
