Classification and Compensation Study Project Update - June 07, 2017

We're happy to share the following updates on the performance management and compensation/classification studies:

  • Performance Management:  We are looking forward to meeting with some of you as part of focus groups we’ll conduct in mid-June.  An email describing the focus groups and asking for volunteers was distributed on Thursday, June 1st.  If you are interested in participating and can commit to the activities, please review the email to confirm your availability for the projected dates and contact Kasandra Dewbre-Burrows no later than end of business on Friday, June 9th.
  • Compensation and Classification:  Position Description Questionnaires (PDQs) were completed by support staff and submitted to supervisors on May 26th. Supervisors completed their review of the PDQs last Friday.  Department Heads are in the process of conducting their review and will submit the completed documents to HR by Friday, June 9th. Thank you to all of you for adhering to the deadlines for all the phases.  A similar process will be conducted for public services staff and will begin in mid-June.

Once again, please visit the intranet projects sites for further updates, and thanks to all who have participated thus far.  We look forward to speaking with some of you during the upcoming focus group conference calls.
