Program Description: 
Kids, get your cooking skills ready for the holiday season! Our annual Apple Pie Time program lets kids practice following directions, measuring ingredients and putting together a delicious pie to take home and bake. Cookbooks for kids will be available to check out. This program fills up quickly, so registration is required.

Apple Pie Time Shopping List for 50 pies granny smith apples 100 butter (25 sticks--7 boxes) brown sugar 4.5 lbs. sugar 3.2 lbs. cinnamon 9 oz. allspice 4.5 oz. cornstarch 9 oz. frozen pie crusts 50 rolled-up pie crusts (refrigerated) 50 bowls (or cups) for mixing dry ingredients 50 sturdy plastic knives (for cutting butter) 50 paper plates (for cutting butter and apples) 50 spoons (for mixing dry ingredients) 50 gallon size (or larger) Ziploc bags (NOT slider type) 50 paper towels (put some at each table for wiping hands)
