Describe Project and Impact:
STEM inter-reach using the BiBli robot to spark interest and build relationships with Bright Future cluster.
Project Description and Expected Outcomes:
BiBli is a low cost, autonomous, artificially-intelligent robot. Del City's current BiBli project using one robot is underway and will begin in September 2016. This project extends Metro’s current roster of successful STEAM programming; members ages 7 to 13 have the opportunity to assemble the robot and participate in its ongoing programming and development. The current project will partner with Kerr Middle School; two additional robots would allow a greater number of members to participate. Once complete, BiBli will be able to interact with members and can be a valuable tool for Marketing and Outreach.
Why should we select this project?:
Low cost ($595.00 per robot); high potential to generate interested among DC community and good PR.
