Capital Projects

  • Capitol Hill (New Library)
    • Project Closeouts are ongoing
    • Basement plumbing project is complete
    • Roof leaks have been repaired
    • Restroom Doors - All the items (doors, frames, hardware) should be in this week.  We will have a pre-construction meeting in the next week or two. Install date TBD
  • Bethany (New Library)
    • Construction Update
      • Plumbing 99% complete
      • Mechanical 99% complete
      • Drywall 99% complete and painted with first coat.
      • Electrical is 70% complete
      • Roofing 70% complete
      • Data cabling is about to begin
      • HVAC testing is underway
    • Anticipated Grand Opening: mid-April 2019. A revised schedule will go to the Bethany City Council for approval this month. Substantial completion date is forthcoming.
  • Village (Interior Renovation)
    • Construction Contract negotiation
    • Pre-construction & Submittals
    • Anticipated Closure: January 21 – March 8
  • Del City (New Library)
    • Project Agreement negotiation in progress, Library Consultant selection in progress goal to complete by March 2019, and Schematic Design.  
  • Belle Isle (Renovation and Addition)
    • Project Agreement and Architect Selection (We will not disclose Firm Due to Ongoing City Negotiations and City Council Approval – Council Meeting Scheduled 1/15/19)

Facilities Maintenance Projects

  • Downtown: HVAC BAS controls upgrade Commissioning on-going (City Funded Project). MLS internal system repairs @ 60%
  • Midwest City: Boiler Retrofit Project (Jackson Mechanical start 01/09-01/11) – Shared MLS/City Funded Project
  • Northwest: Building Domestic Water Supply Pressure Regulator (Hunter Mechanical 01/10) – City Funded Project
  • Harrah: Children's Bulletin Board (Full Circle Millwork 01/11)
  • Ralph Ellison – New carpet install delayed until sometime after March 1, 2019 – Exact date still TBD
  • Edmond (HVAC and Carpet)
    • Negotiating Project Scope and Budget through project agreement
