Why?

LaVetta discussed our focus to move the needle on the metrics and measure the outcomes. To see  positive change and build towards working together as a system to fulfill our Strategic Plan and goals. She stated everyone will be involved and we will collaborate together during this process. She stated a new program catalog will be built from our collaborative efforts, and look similar to our Outreach Supply Catalog. Staff members will have the option to go into the catalog and choose from a list of options.

How will this benefit us?

This new approach will provide an avenue for all staff to work together towards common goals to promote library experiences, provide outreach in our communities, and reduce costs of programs per person, share wealth of creativity, talent, and resources. The whole idea is to narrow the focus during different times of the year with the Themed approach.

Emily stated they are trying to pull ideas together for the first phase. She passed out a sign-up sheet for the first and second quarters for themed programming.
