I am so excited that everyone was given the Strengthsfinder book and the opportunity to take the assessment! I'm wondering if anyone else wants to talk about their results?!
My #1 was Positivity (imagine that!) and down the list was Woo. Did anyone else get results that fit them to a T?
Thanks again to Kaye, Michelle, and Tim for providing these books for the whole staff!

What are your other three?
1. Positivity
2. Developer
3. Relator
4. Arranger
5. Woo
I was over the moon to get to take this assessment. I've thoroughly enjoyed all of the introspection and great conversation this has given a lot of people.
Mine fit me perfectly and basically shouts "work with people!".
1. Empathy
2. Positivity
3. Developer
4. Individualization
5. Communication
I have been excitedly asking everyone about their results and loving talking about them, which also goes perfectly with my results. Haha
Mine are:
1. Strategic
2. Futuristic
3. Communication
4. Woo
5. Positivity
I was talking to another colleague about their results and one of their results indicated that they draw great meaning from forging deep, lasting connections with people and we contrasted that with Woo where I said it's like I walk around with a hammer of personality breaking ice wherever I go but never getting too deep. I also like to imagine it has an exclamation point at the end - Woo! - that ties in with positivity. Like, "Woo! We can do it!"
Hi all,
I thought this was a very revealing (and) fun assignment, and I am thrilled that we are offering it to all of our staff members. I love finding out what everyone's strengths are! Mine, in order:
Arranger (this totally makes sense... quoting the book on pg 53 "you jump into the confusion" which fits since I always say that I thrive on chaos!)
Ideation
Learner
Context
Developer
What I thought was quite interesting is that I initially did this assessment approximately two years ago. At that time my five strengths were:
Connected
Positivity
Maximizer
Input
Adaptability
When I read and compared my old strengths to my new strengths, I could see some connections between the two groups and I think I probably changed from one to another simply due to age and experience.
I think it's interesting to see the different ones that people are getting. I have yet to find another person at WA with woo so far.
Mine are:
Communication
Achiever
Responsibility
Woo
Positivity
It seems like so far people can see themselves in some part of the descriptions.
1. Deliberative
2. Maximizer
3. Intellection
4. Consistency
5. Relator
Deliberative and consistency are exactly my personality. The others are very close. I love the guide it gives you with the action ideas so it's not just words but real ideas.
1. Input
2. Adaptability
3. Responsibility
4. Positivity
5. Developer
These changed a little from the last time I took it in 2015, which were:
1. Maximizer
2. Adaptability
3. Positivity
4. Input
5. Developer
I think this test is very valuable and am so glad it was given system-wide.

My results:
1. Learner
2. Ideation
3. Futuristic
4. Maximizer
5. Connectedness
I thought this was fun too, and have really enjoyed discussing the results.
Thank you, Dana, for the link.
1. Strategic
2. Learner
3. Ideation
4. Input
5. Individualization
I would have expected mine to be a little more people rather than my own thought processes, honestly.
I am: Ideation, Strategic, Learner, Achiever, and Individualization.
In a nutshell, I like to learn stuff, plan stuff, and then do stuff, while paying attention to people's individual talents and needs.
...then again , I always chuckle a bit when I take a survey where I answer a lot of question that describe me, and then I get a report back that -wonder of all wonders-describes me, lol.
Anyway,it is fun to have unifying vocabulary to describe all of our individual quirks and gifts :-)
1. Input
2. Individualization
3. Connectedness
4. Intellection
5. Learner
1. Developer
2. Empathy
3. Input
4. Context
5. Restorative
Given that the questions were a little odd, I am kinda surprised at the result. Only because I haven't really taken a quiz like this before.
Positivity
Adaptability
Consistency
Restorative
Achiever
Enjoyed taking the quiz. Thank you for providing the books for all staff to enjoy.
I took the StrengthsFinder about 9 years ago. Then, my results were:
* Empathy
* Developer
* Adaptability
* Connectedness
* Positivity
My results now are:
* Empathy
* Positivity
* Futuristic
* Learner
* Includer
I was surprised that so many of mine changed, but I have had some major life events in the past nine years. All of mine seem to be reflective of who I am now. No need to change my career plans of social worker/librarian yet, but I am still reading up on the results :)
This year:
> Ideation
> Activator
> Strategic
> Communication
> Competitive
This was somewhat different from a couple of years ago, but with some "old friends" ...
> Input
> Ideation
> Communication
> Achiever
> Activator
I can't say I was that surprised from my results after reading the descriptions.
1.) Input
2.) Activator
3.) Individualization
4.) Adaptability
5.) Relator
1. Input
2. Learner
3. Empathy
4. Harmony
5. Intellection
I was surprised with how accurate my results were.
1. Harmony
2. Responsibility
3. Consistency
4. Intellection
5. Learner
1. Arranger (Lvl 10 Ar-Ranger)
2. Achiever
3. Belief
4. Restorative
5. Developer
This makes me think we are all rolling our library D&D characters stats!
Ha! Yes!
That is totally how I'm looking at it.
lawful chaotic
drow elf
ranger
ring of secrets +1
Big Bad Wolf's Paw with Holy Enchant
Chaotic Good
Human
Sorcerer
Lvl 5
Time to do some library/dungeon crawling!
So it looks like we are getting a group for a system-wide D&D group!
Let's go battle a demegorgon!
Could this turn out like the D&D episodes of Community and/or Freaks and Geeks?
That's all I want, really.
I think we should fight some Danger Napkins!

Sugar Hype Fish Kid is just misunderstood.
Sure could go for some spaghetti pizza.

- Strategic

Mine seemed pretty fitting. I enjoyed reading the "how to work with this person" section with my coworkers.
It looks like Input is the most common in everyone's results. I guess that makes sense for librarianship :)
My results were:
1. intellection
2. input
3. discipline
4. learner
5. achiever
Vicki and I both found the "how to work with this person" section productive-- and very accurate, as we've learned many of these things organically while working as a team!
My results were:
1. Achiever
2. Responsibility
3. Empathy
4. Restorative
5. Futuristic
I was very pleased with the results!!
1. Positivity
2. Woo
3. Maximizer
4. Activator
5. Adaptability
Or essentially, "We're gonna do it. It's gonna be great. So let's find the team because we need to start now!"
1. Empathy
2. Relator
3. Developer
4. Achiever
5. Arranger
Responsibility
Achiever
Learner
Intellection
Restorative
I was a little disappointed that Restorative didn't exactly mean "having the ability to restore health, strength, or a feeling of well-being" -- because after the first four, I must be exhausted! LOL! ;-)
Mine were:
Connectedness
Adaptability
Ideation - yes, I like to see how the parts all work together
Harmony
Input
not too surprised except I like to plan things and not big on not knowing what's going to happen. This Alignment causes me some stress because I don't know where everything is going to end up, especially me.
I agree, Debbie. My number 1 trait was futuristic. It's so hard to plan for a future I can't yet picture.
1. Harmony (can't we all just get along?!?)
2. Input
3. Achiever
4. Arranger
5. Developer
Thanks Kaye, Michele, Tim, and whoever else was involved in getting us these books!
1.Empathy
2.Adaptability
3.Intellection
4.Input
5.Developer
I got:
1. learner
2. consistency
3. achiever
4. restorative
5. input
1. Input
2. Achiever
3. Intellection
4. Harmony
5. Learner
I thought my results were pretty accurate except for number 4. Harmony as it is described in the report and with how the book recommends to deal with those with a strength in Harmony, is pretty much the exact opposite of how I am or how I like to deal with things. I'm not really sure how I got it as a strength, but at least the rest of them were worked out.
I finally took the assessment - here are my results:
1. Strategic
2. Input
3. Individualization
4. Relator
5. Intellection
Apparently, Strategics & Activators form strong teams - so if any Activators that would like a Strategizer's input on something, let me know!
You and I had the same top strength.
We should form a team!
1. Strategic
2. Ideation
3. Activator
4. Woo
5. Significance
(Although this is from 2015... I haven't yet taken the new test)
My results were:
1. Learner
2. Analytical
3. Arranger
4. Consistency
5. Ideation
I think it is interesting to see how a diverse field of strengths help us to together create a strong team.
I really enjoyed taking my assessment and have loved seeing what top strengths my colleagues possess. It’s wonderful to see such a diversity of strengths throughout our organization! I originally took the assessment in 2011 and was curious to see how my strengths have changed over the past 6 years. While many of my top strengths have changed it was neat to see that the majority of my strengths from the past and present are focused on relationship building.
Back in 2011 my top strengths were:
Futuristic
Maximizer
Developer
Empathy
Connectedness
Now, my top 5 strengths are:
Responsibility
Harmony
Empathy
Futuristic
Relator
1. Context (History!)
2. Input (I collect knowledge.)
3. Intellection (I think a lot. Like, a lot a lot.)
4. Restorative (I fix problems.)
5. Connectedness (It's the circle of liiiiiiiiife!)
