In response to what kind of reading counts, the FAQ states: "Encourage participants to keep track of how much time they spend doing these activities and then log them as an "activity" in Beanstack to earn a special badge. In the training video, early literacy activites were logged as Minutes.
When parents are logging early literacy activities should they be doing so under Minutes or Activities? Will the location of the logging result in different badges? I can see the language potentially causing confusion for parents logging from home.
Thank you for pointing this out. We will update the FAQ to be more clear. The short answer is they can log both minutes and activities. There are a couple of badges (Reading Readiness and Babytime) that encourage you to do early literacy activities in order to earn the badge. A person can mark that they have completed those items in order to receive the badge, and they can also log that time as minutes and, instead of a book title, list the early literacy activity they did (singing songs, doing nursery rhymes, etc.).
